In collaboration with Eke Panuku Development, Beca is opening its doors to UDINZ for a tour of its new global headquarters in Wynyard Quarter, as well as an exploration of their immediate neighbourhood.

Join us for a tour of Beca’s new workplace (Te Paeroa o te Kawau), Grid AKL and Wynyard Quarter. You’ll learn more about why Beca decided to lease 15,000sqm over five floors of this 6 Green Star building in the heart of the Wynyard Quarter Innovation Precinct. Beca was part of the project team on the basebuild and fitout. You’ll hear how the workplace has been designed to facilitate creativity, collaboration, belonging and wellbeing. It’s a full-circle moment for Beca, having been part of the creation of Wynyard Quarter since the very early days.

The tour will also include a short walk around the immediate environs, including Tīramarama Way, Halsey Street and Pakenham Street and a walk-through of the GridAKL innovation campus.

The event will conclude with drinks and nibbles hosted by Beca.

Project #1: The Symphony Centre

The Symphony Centre is a vertical, transport-oriented development (TOD), rising high above Te Waihorotiu Station in the heart of Auckland’s midtown. Anchoring the Aotea Arts Quarter, this 21-storey mixed-use development combines high-quality residences, commercial tenancies, retail, and hospitality with public laneways and civic space.

The project includes the adaptive reuse of the heritage-listed Bledisloe House and the creation of The Lanes—a curated network of activated laneways that connect the precinct to surrounding cultural institutions.

Led by international TOD pioneers Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad (MRCB), and delivered locally by RCP, The Symphony Centre is a generational city-shaping opportunity that will redefine how Aucklanders live, move, and connect in our Central city area.

Project #2: The Tāmaki Regeneration Story.

TRC’s GM of Development and Commercial, Daniel Henderson will speak to how Tāmaki Regeneration leads urban regeneration that put’s whānau and community outcomes at the heart of everything they do.

From building high-quality, future-ready neighbourhoods that enable housing mobility, to forging deep partnerships with mana whenua and local community, his presentation will explore how place based regeneration can be a powerful force for equity and opportunity.

Daniel will spotlight groundbreaking social transformation initiatives, like shared home ownership that are helping local whānau build lasting pathways to success.

Get a firsthand look at major developments including Site A, Epping & Evandale in Glen Innes, and Pirangi in Point England, and hear how co-design with mana whenua is shaping places with meaning and mana.

Project #3: Sero Tower

This 20-storey development is located on the prime corner between Wadier Place and Great North Road in Henderson Metropolitan Town Center. The tower features 100+ residential apartments, retail on the bottom, with a community room on the 10th floor. The ground level has two commercial tenancies and a car stacker accommodating 60+ cars.

Patterned and sculptured concrete walls and columns are prominent on the facade with a carefully curated material palette. Colourful aluminum fins and timber linings feature in the internal winter gardens; visible to passing pedestrians and fostering a sense of community.

Bruce L. of Leehan Living said the system for 66 vehicles would be installed on the site where CMP Construction is doing foundation works and where a $48.5m underwrite was made by the Crown agency.

The stacker for the 115-unit block is coming from GS Parking System in South Korea, he said. The system is automated, placing cars in empty slots within the racks.

The project is expected to be completed by March 2026.

Olympus represents a new benchmark in multi-unit residential living, purpose-built to support Kiwis on their journey to home ownership. With 87 architecturally designed, quality-built apartments ranging from 1 to 3 bedrooms and each with a dedicated car park - this development is designed to offer real, affordable pathways to owning a home.

Construction is on track for completion in January 2026, with homes available to purchase from May 2025.
