UDINZ Photography Competition - Winner Announcement

We're delighted to today announce, on World Architecture Day, the results of our recent Urban Development Institute of New Zealand UDINZ 2024 Photography competition. A competition for all professional and amateur photographers alike united by an interest in the urban form.

🎉Congratulations to the Supreme Winner Azra Ahamed who wins a “Mystery Break” with Air New Zealand.

Our Category Winners are:
- Urban Regeneration Winner: Suzanne Lange
- Density Done Well Winner: Joshua Waterman
- Social & Community Housing: Mel Nickerson (Submitted by Matthew Hart)
- Masterplanned Community Building: Shaun Baker
- "Pacific’s Triple Star”: Ashley Harding (Submitted by Matthew Hart)
- Yes, I took this on my Smartphone!!: Azra Ahmed

What we were after were great images that truly reflect the built environment here in Aotearoa NZ and the communities served by it.

We will also throughout the year gratefully receive images that we can use in our digital and other publications (we’ll assume you want to enter them into next years competition unless you advise to the contrary). Keep them coming!
